Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I apologize for any frustrations that you have had applying for this opening. I have been a job seeker before and I understand that the application process can often feel like
a "black hole." As a recruiting team, we go out of our way to make that not happen. Which is why this feedback hits me especially hard - because I am the recruiter that didn't follow up with you. I work really hard to drill into my team the importance of timely follow up and to see that I am the one who dropped the ball here is personally frustrating. And for that, I sincerely apologize.
Last year at Sovos we processed over 20,000 applicants for our positions. We run a very lean recruiting team and, sometimes, we don't always have the time to properly follow up or things get missed. We work very hard to ensure that doesn't happen, but we're human. I can assure you that I would not have reached out to you asking to follow up if I had not been truly interested in learning more about you and your experiences. Thanks again, for your note.
