I applied to SovTech in October 2021 then got an interview scheduled 3 days later which was supposed to be online via Google Hangouts, for 15 minutes (Johannesburg) I prepared and connected 5 minutes earlier but when it was time for the interview the recruiter didn't show up. This is so unprofessional, but I also understand that something important might have come up. So I emailed the recruiter asking if we should reschedule the interview but that didn't go so well as she didn't care to reply back. So, I called her and she said she'll call me back she's still busy with something, but you can also guess how that went (she didn't call back). It's really unfortunate. I should've also been more professional by confirming the interview 30 minutes before time. But these things happen. The way that Gerald speaks about SovTech and its vision, its growth, I resonated with that and is one of the reasons that made me apply for this position. I can just hope that in the future things like this can be avoided and may the company reach even more heights in their journey (I'll be cheering from afar).
