I applied for the job online and never heard from HR so I finally called them and was able to get an interview about 5 months after I applied. They claimed that they are so busy and were not able to forward all applications to the managers of the department. Once the manager of my department received my resume, she called me right away and we met that week. Interview was very causal and asked me why I wanted the job and I could contribute. Was offered the job that day and started orientation (two weeks of hospital orientation) the next week.

No difficult questions, just casual conversation and then some other techs working on the floor were brought in to ask me some questions and see if I would work well with them in the department.
You'll get a call from HR to come in and talk about your medical experience. Also how you'll help the hospital. They'll also talk about how the hospital runs. It may have changed since RWJ to over.
