The process started with a phone screen with a member of Solventum's recruiting team. The recruiter mentioned a different position title which I had to correct at the outset. They seemed uninterested in my experience and requested I send 5 bullet points of why my experience aligns to the position. Regardless, I interviewed with the hiring manager a week later and went on to do two back to back panel interviews. The final interview was with a VP. All of the interviewers were personable and easy to work with which made me excited about the team itself. Within the last interview, they relayed that I was almost at the end of the process and that I was a finalist. They proceeded to ghost me after multiple follow ups with the recruiter and another follow up with the hiring manager. A few months later, I received an automated email that I did not get selected for the position. The process itself was very opaque and the most efficient part of the process was the AI assistant they use for scheduling. Overall, the biggest issue was the recruiter and their lack of responses when I had questions or follow ups. It only takes a few minutes to respond to an email especially for someone who is far along in the process.
