I initially received a call from the hiring manager about a low level help desk position. Unfortunately the pay was far less than I was making. I mentioned this to the hiring manager, and they said they would keep me in mind for future positions. A week later I received a call from the same hiring manager offering me a higher level job with more pay. I wasn't actually expecting a call back about another job. I went into the office for the interview, and there were about 6 people there all asking me questions. After the interview they took me for a tour of the property. Most of the IT staff worked in cubicles. There was an autoshop in the building where people from other departments worked. Overall, it seemed like a decent place to work. Everybody was nice, but the work seemed kind of soulless. They had a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Which always rubs me the wrong way. They also mentioned that Chrysler is their biggest client, and that executives from Chrysler would be there often, and that we'd need to look busy when they were there. Which was weird. I didn't end up accepting because I got a better offer elsewhere.
