I was referred by a friend to apply for the position, in which I submitted my resume and cover letter directly by email to the hiring manager. We set up a phone interview pretty quickly, then it took another week or so to set up an in person interview. We did meet at the coffee shop to conduct it - the expanding staff within the office means high competition for the conference room! Within another week I was offered the position - the interview left me feeling hopeful I would advance.
