Entretien
I applied for a Sales Development Manager role and made it to the panel stage (4/6 stages) after several weeks of unclear communication, missed updates, and disorganized scheduling. Just 2.5 hours before my panel interview, I was informed that the position had already been offered to another candidate.
While I understand that hiring decisions must be made, the lack of transparency and respect throughout the process was incredibly disheartening - especially given how much time and energy I invested in preparing the case study and interview.
As someone who works in sales consulting to HR and recruitment teams for several years, I found the experience not only poorly coordinated but also deeply misaligned with the values Snowflake promotes externally. I had high hopes for this opportunity, but unfortunately, this process left a lasting negative impression.
I hope Snowflake takes this feedback seriously and improves the candidate experience.

Question 1
Please tell me a common misconception people have about you when they meet you for the first time?
Interviewed with the hiring manager on a Tuesday. Was told I'd hear back with a go/no go by COB the following Monday.
Despite sending a few follow up emails after Monday came and went, it ended up taking 3 weeks to hear back (they cut me loose).
The interview itself was fine.
Not especially upset about the outcome.
Pretty frustrating that it took 3 weeks for a decision to be made and communicated.
