I applied for a certain design job and was asked to do a wireframe of basically what the whole job/product was about. I thought this was weird and a bad sign at the time, but I did it anyway (a couple of hours of work). A few days later, I ping the recruiter ("did you receive my work?") and he tells me that the job is no longer being offered and I notice that the position has changed to a developer role (which I most certainly tell him that I have recognized this).
If you're following, what this looks like is they had a bunch of candidates design the product then changed the job to the engineer that's going to build it (this is speculation, but...). The recruiter new damn well how shady this was and when I asked him to forward my resume to another recruiter (who handles other design jobs) he responded quickly that he would do so. Never heard from them again.
This company reeks of terrible management and bad culture. Their reputation is bad and I knew that going in. Maybe that equity is worth it, idk.

I was referred by someone. From there, it started with a screening call with the recruiter.
Interviews with lots of white boarding problems and portfolio case study walk throughs. Entire process took between two months.

J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Snap
Entretien
The interviewer was late, visibly disinterested, barely asked questions, ended the interview early. He mentioned how "kindness" is one of the company's core values, and then proceeded to ghost me, along with the recruiter. The job is still up, months later. What's going on?

I thought the interview process was very structured and fair. I was told what type of format to expect, like the case study presentation, app critique and an interview about me. It was 3 individual one on one interviews with different employees.
