J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 7 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Slack
Entretien
I applied cold. Recruiter contacted me to set up time via email. We had a 30 minute call, during which she asked to set up time for me with the hiring manager. I met for 45 minutes over the phone with the hiring manager. There was a 2-week lull before on-site time was scheduled. This was an interesting on-site. It's a chronological resume review for 75 minutes with the role's first and second line managers, who ask in depth questions about each role on your resume (past to present). After this, I was brought on-site again for a 60-minute panel with the hiring manager and a few of the role's key stakeholders, during which I presented a 25-minute GTM plan (IRL scenario from past work.. no extra work needed other than packaging and positioning for new audience). After this, I had a 30-minute "informal" phone discussion with the head of marketing, since she likes to get to know all late stage candidates for the team. During every stage, the recruiter was overly communicative and provided updates on where I stood with the team's consideration of me.

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Slack (San Francisco, CA) en mars 2017
Entretien
30-minute phone interview off the back of being reached out to by a Slack recruiter on LinkedIn to learn more about the position.
Interviewer was late, seemed like there was a disconnect between the job description on the website and the desired skills/experience.
The interviewer either wasn't willing to reveal much about the company or simply didn't know fairly rudimentary information about core business functions.

How would you drive adoption of apps from Slack's App Directory?
