I was contacted by a contracted recruiter. The interview went well so she scheduled me for an interview with the hiring manager. There was a mix up with the time and when I emailed to reschedule I was told they'd interview me only after she interviewed all the other candidates in she was interested in and would contact me for an interview if none of them worked out. Treated me like I was the ugly girl at the prom! Response was so rude I thanked the recruiter for her time but declined their offer to be interviewed as a 'last choice'. After being in IT for 25 years and working with managers across the spectrum, I'll skip the socially developing *problem* boss.
