Multiple stages but interview held on a 1:1 basis with people outside of finance which seemed like a waste of time as the time could be better spent meeting people you will be working with. The interviewer seemed disinterested and just wanted to get through the checklist

The most disappointing interview experience I’ve ever had. The idea of working for Skyscanner has always been very appealing and I didnt hesitate to apply when the right position appeared on their career site. I had my first call with HR manager which lasted about 10-15min with generic questions. Then 2nd interview was organised with 2 finance managers. I was told that I can expect a response within 2 weeks. After not hearing any update after 2 weeks post my 2nd interview, I decided to follow up but was told that the interviews are still taking place. My interview was on the 20/02 and even though I followed up on three occassions, I havent heard a single update and havent received any kind of feedback. I find it rather unprofessional that such a big company like Skyscanner doesnt value people time, even though they claim how important it is to have a right culture within their business. In the end of the day people take time to prepare, research and take time off from their current workplace to attend the interview. The company clearly doesnt live by their values and if anything, that just completely put me off from applying to any other positions that might be advertised by Skyscanner.

HR screening via Skype as HR was in Edinburgh and I was in Singapore.
Very professional and good explanation of company culture and explanation of the role and how my skill sets may be applicable to the role applied. Interview lasted 30 minutes. Received response to next stage within a week.
Round 2 was in person interview with CFO. Very hospitable. Asked a lot more technical, scenario based questions. Interview lasted about 45 minutes. Great insight into organisation and culture. Standard reply on outcome of interview. No feedback provided.
