Sinclair reached out to schedule a virtual interview on Microsoft Teams, and I assumed it would be a pretty standard interview. However, it wasn't really an "interview" at all and the recruiter simply just relayed details about the position and asked if I had any questions about the position, she didn't ask me a single question... Never have I been asked to participate in an interview where I wasn't asked at least one question about anything. Not my background, work experience, literally nothing. I have a pretty sound background, a college degree, and I dressed appropriately by wearing a suit, so I don't think there was anything that immediately threw them off and made them not want to interview me anymore. They said they have their top 2 candidates move on to in-person interviews after the Teams interview, but I have no idea how they can possibly determine who the top 2 candidates would be if that's all their interview process is. Ultimately I felt that it was a massive waste of time considering they set the expectation that it would be a standard interview, which I did much preparation for, only for it to not be an interview at all.

Not a difficult interview process. 3 rounds starting with an informative interview of the position and qualifications, then 1 more online and 1 in person. From there they do reference checks and decide if it is a fit.
