I applied online in late October 2020 and was offered the position in mid-December 2020. Communication throughout the interview process was consistent, timely, and thorough. The process included a phone interview with a member of the HR team, a Zoom interview with the Managing Editor (without video), a writing assignment, and a Zoom interview with the Managing Editor and Editor-in-Chief (with video).

From start to finish the process lasted about a month. After my application was reviewed I had an initial phone interview with the HR recruiter. Before my second interview I had to complete a simulation assignment. Once that was reviewed a second interview was scheduled with the hiring manager. After that the third interview was with the hiring manager, the editor in chief, and the lead simulation developer.
