I got asked to showcase my design work, but the senior designer did not seem very excited to be there or very collaborative. it also sounded like they had to go into the office even when there was a COVID peek in the city. The feeling of the interview was more of wanting to look at your designs and critique them than have a conversation about your work. As a jr. designer thought this would not be the right working team for me and pulled out of the interview process.

I had a standard HR screening. The recruiter was professional and friendly. The hiring manager's call was super off-putting. The hiring manager asked me to walk through some design work and start interrogating without letting me finish my thought. That speaks to their design culture. The call ended with a weird taste and no understanding of the role at all.
