HR approached me and asked if I was interested in the job. It wasn’t a generalist role. But a specialist role. Went through 2 rounds of interviews - HR and a representative from the hiring team. In the first round of interview, HR went through my resume and was very delightful. However in the 2nd round, the hiring team went through my resume and asked questions that weren’t related to the job. The person even questioned my current company’s project management ways and compared it with Shopee’s even though it’s a totally different industry. It’s like comparing Apple and Orange and expecting both to taste and look the same. Felt like the person was asking me questions for the sake of asking and wasn’t keen on knowing my competencies. Furthermore, having only 1 person to interview candidate could result in bias.

Hr interview - study case - no feedback after that. The former recruiter said that i’m in advance stage and she handed over to the new recruiter, i tried to follow up to the new recruiter but there’s no reply
