      1. Phone Screening - 2 weeks after submitting my job application, they contacted me, asked me a few question and informed me that I was shortlisted for a job interview with them. However, they forgot to send in an email invitation to my mailbox and they were uncontactable via their phone line. For 2 weeks, I spent chasing and tracing my way towards their HR for my email invitation. When I managed to chase my way towards HR, I was informed that the hiring manager was looking for someone with an e-commerce background and they become quite hesitant to send me that email invitation for the job interview. 2. Job Interview - The following week later, I attended a job interview with the HR and hiring manager. During the job interview, the hiring manager seems like someone who likes to take credit of his subordinates work and he seems uninterested about my past working experience and what I could bring to this job. Not to mention, he doesn’t seem to put in the effort to answer some of my question either. 3. Aftermath/Follow-Up - After the job interview, I was told to follow-up 1 week later. 3 days earlier, I follow-up only to find out that the job has been filled long before I came for a job interview and they gave me a voucher to shop online at their store instead. All I could say is that “Thank God, I was not offered this job at this company” because as a customer and a job candidate, this is not the treatment I was expecting from the #1 e-commerce marketplace in Asia Pacific and Taiwan. Not even a voucher could make a difference to what has transpired.

      Entretien

      I was interviewed by two people in one day. Both interviews started really late (more than an hour later than scheduled). It's a good thing the waiting area was comfortable and their pantry is open to non-employees. Most questions were about my personality and things written in my resume.
