      Entretien

      - Matched company via Hired, scheduled intro call for the same week. Had brief recruiter phone call, and was moved to tech interview - Next week, met team lead and talked through code live. Like the recruiter, he seemed upbeat, and out exchange was amicable. The difficultly was skewed to easy. Mostly Frontend questions. - Next week, a final interview -- non-technical -- between yours truly and the co-founder. He seemed pre-occupied, and received a package during out call. We got along on a personal level, and I moved forward.

Finally, we understand your comment about the co-founder seeming preoccupied during the final interview.       30 min recruiter call 30 min phone screen via CoderPad with Hiring Manager (2 leetcode easy) 1 hour panel interview with 2 engineers 1 hour system design round with a principal engineer 1 hour leetcode + system design + behavioral interview with Hiring manager again 15 min verbal offer call with Hiring Manager + CTO. Lowball offer (benefits, base pay, no bonuses, no 401k) - but seemed like nice people.

We truly appreciate you going through our interview process and sharing your insights. It should be noted that we do provide a salary range on all open positions and discuss the compensation range in our initial introductory call to ensure expectations are aligned. Getting to the offer stage is very exciting and we always hope that our offers are accepted, and the candidate feels as excited as we are about the opportunity. This is not always the case as sometimes our priorities do not align. As a Series-A startup, we aren’t currently offering bonuses, though they are a future-forward initiative, however, we offer 100% paid benefits for all of our employees along with a 401k and review our comp & benefits plan annually to remain competitive with the market.
