4 rounds of interview
1- Hackerrank online test
2- Android basics with live coding
3- Advance Android with Low level system design
4- Bar raiser round- Asked out of scope technical questions
The last round was a pathetic experience for me. It is completely unacceptable to make final decisions based on bar raiser results. The three technical rounds I underwent were sufficient to identify my skills. Sharechat should review bar raiser rounds process and take down my feedback very carefully, because as a senior interviewer, you should be aware of and respectful of other people's abilities and knowledge. 70% of the questions that interviewer asked were out of scope and a few random questions that were in my area of expertise, but the answers to those questions were very subjective. Following my completion of all three technical rounds, I was extremely disheartened when I received the feedback on my final round. Although the HR, helped me out a lot in the entire interview process, I felt she was powerless to take action on the feedback I provided her. I understand that in such a company a whistleblower cannot act. These types of interviews create a negative brand image for a company, and senior management should pay attention to them. I even told the HR to reconsider me for another round of interview and test my technical skills related to my domain but I got nothing. So overall a bad experience due to the final bar raiser round.
