I heard about the position through friends working at the company. I submitted my resume and received a phone call within a few days and an interview was scheduled within a week. I arrived for my interview before business hours and met with the president and another marketing manager. They were very friendly and excited about the company. I was nervous about the interview, but I was quickly put at ease. I had already sent in writing samples and a resume, but had no idea what the feedback would be. My initial impression of the building was that is was beautiful and the standards at the company would be at least equal to that of the facility, and I was pleased that both men in the interview were happy with my samples. They explained the requirements of the position as well as their hopes for future career development and if that was something I would be open to. The president, Chris Calcagno, asked me about past work and volunteer experience and how I thought those experiences would translate at Seventh Point. He gave a brief overview of the company and the direction they were heading, the offer of payment and hours and asked if I was ready to start that next Monday.
