J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Sentry (Stevens Point, WI) en oct. 2018
Entretien
I don't often rant about a company, but if you're applying for an internship here, you need a high GPA, or need to know someone who works here to offered an internship. I say this because I applied here as a Junior thinking I'd get an offer because my friend, who is studying the same degree and has a 2.3 GPA, got an internship here LAST YEAR (as a sophomore). Which is odd because Sentry "recommends" a 3.0 gpa, which I had when I applied. So yes their selection process seems a bit flawed with how they select candidates.
The interviewers seemed uninterested during my interview, as they called me someone else name when I arrived. Frankly I knew I wasn't going to get an offer there within the first few minutes based on the way they were acting to my responses to their questions.
First it was a phone screen interview with basic need to knows. In person interview half behavioral and half technical. Technical questions written on paper about classes, inheritance, debugging, efficiency.
Good, 2 rounds and it was helpful and they were friendly and asked a lot of questions. Didn't feel a ton of pressure or stress during it. They were nice
First you go through a recruiter phone call to talk about your past experience and why you want to work there, and then you go through a technical interview with a software engineer.
