Received an email stating "Your CV and overall profile seem like they are a great match for this opening" which I took as positive but was then also asked to head online and fill out a questionnaire to "get a deeper overview of your professional background" I did so and there were a few optional questions which i left alone. However, I was surprised to receive a rejection this morning stating "However, after careful review of your resume, we have decided to move forward with other candidates at this time." This is quite contrary to the initial email to connect and just seems like a joke in terms of writing with no feedback given. I expected more from an org like Semrush and feel like they didnt live up to their brand rep.

It was a video call with typical questions for getting to know each other - about work experience, working in a team, successful and unsuccessful cases. the interviewer gave a lot of information about the company, the specific department and tasks.
