The hiring manager and directors were amazing. Explained the company's and direct teams goals completely and efficiently. We were mutually excited about the offer, but when I received the offer and sent over my counter offer, like everyone does, I was strung along for 3 months to be told my counteroffer was declined and the original accepted offer would be rescinded.. This was decided by the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) after 3 months of her knowing about it and with constant reminders for a decision. Given, as of 4/8/2025, there is a new CTO so I hope they don't have this same practice. It was a huge blow and my recruiter was even stunned. So, even though I accepted the original offer after the counteroffer was denied 3 months later, my original offer was rescinded by the CTO that also denied the counteroffer.
