The interview process was very poorly run. After being told the role was filled. I was contacted a week later to say the role was open again. Then a 3-month timeline for three 30 min interviews that should have been at least 45-60 mins and could have been completed in less than 3 weeks. Then a 20 min interview to basically tell me they change the role description and requirements and wanted to get my thoughts on it. "At this point, they made up their mind on their selection and just wanted to drag me through just in case this candidate doesn't accept". Being the patient person I am and understanding the logistics of communicating with an international team and candidates. I was patient with asking for updates. They basically decided to change the role requirements 2 months into our talks and I clearly was caught off guard and had no time to prep for the requirements in the new role. The interviews didn't ask any questions about the day to day work, it was more focus on people management. The team seemed great but I truly believe they were looking for someone to deal with all the negative aspects of interdepartmental issues with escalations and people management
