I reached out to Lori on LinkedIn after browsing Schellman's openings from their website. She was extremely friendly and helpful throughout the process. At other companies the hiring process can drag on for weeks, but she was very responsive and worked with my schedule to set up interviews. I had an initial call with another Sr. Associate so that he could ask me some general questions and I could ask him about the company culture. That was followed by an interview with a manager from my specific department, which was more technical in nature. He asked about my prior experience and asked some specific questions about how I would test certain controls. After that was an interview with a principal, which was basically him telling me about the company and asking about my experience. He allowed me to ask him anything about the company. Finally, I was able to have a lunch meeting with a principal in my city. It was very informal and I was able to learn more about the company and the team members in my area.
