First, a written, timed qualitative assessment. Then, a competency/technical interview. Then, a written, timed quantitative assessment. Then, an interview with an HR person. Then, a final interview. Following the second interview, and based on the organization's stated recruitment process (available on their website), I figured I would get a response as to whether I was selected for the position or not. Instead, I was told that there was a final interview. The whole recruitment process for this position was overly lengthy; from start to finish, it lasted over two and a half months. Communication and responses from the employer's end were routinely delayed a week or longer, often closer to two. At the end (following the final interview, that is), I was told that the position I had been applying for was no longer open, as the organization had chosen to go with short-term consultants instead. Very disappointing experience overall. Looking back, I think it is fair to say that the way I was treated was unprofessional and disrespectful.

As soon as I submitting my application, I received a response 2 days later for an interview. I interviewed a week later. Interview was with a research assistant as research lead was unavailable. Interview consisted of a technical/competency interview that took approx. 45 minutes. They asked how soon I could start and I said in a month, they mentioned they were looking for someone to start as soon as the next Monday, yet I interviewed on a Thursday. The next week I then undertook a written test with quantitative and qualitative portions, the test took 2 hours. I was told that I would hear back from them in about 2 weeks in regards to the next steps, but I was subsequently ghosted until I reached out a month later. I underwent another interview this time with HR and another lead this time in July. The interview was basically the same as the first one, however, there were more HR based questions and discussions on salary. I was informed that they would get back to me in 2 weeks, it is now September, so I am assuming they have moved on.
