J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Samsung Electronics (Varsovie, Mazovie) en déc. 2015
Entretien
I applied directly via LinkedIn. Then there was a short phone call (non-technical). A week after I was invited to their office for the test. For 30 minutes I was locked up in a small room with ~15 pages of a printed-out test. Afterwards I had a talk with a technical guy and then with an HR lady.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The test consisted of questions regarding HTML5, CSS and plain JS. Parts of it were about writing some code (pen&paper), others about writing what a console.log would print out for some code. I found one of the questions to be incomprehensible (with regard to what they actually wanted from me), but there was no one to ask for a clarification.
General topics were:
- AJAX requests
- HTML5 storage and cookies
- CSS selectors' priorities
about JS:
- closures
- hoisting
- scoping
- stuff related to dynamic typing and its consequences
That's how much I remember, there were probably a few topics more. The 30 minutes were supposed to put a pressure on the candidate, even the test itself contained a remark about getting as much as possible done. Some of the questions contained really specific edge cases you'd normally avoid to code that way.
The technical guy actually didn't ask a single question with regard to the test, so there wasn't any way to discuss it. It was a general conversation about my experience and tooling. Absolutely no feedback was given.
The HR lady asked the typical HR questions, verified my proficiency in English and financial expectations.
The only positive thing is that I got some (but not a lot of) informations about the work they do, how they are doing it etc.
in person interview. went over the resume with senior devs, basic react questions and general technical questions about js. interview was 30 min in total. very chill overall and got an offer a few days later
