Initially there was contact with a senior from the same university, followed by a notification to take the Samsung SAT test conducted nationwide. For foreign students in Korea, there is the option to opt for the global SAT version in English instead. After passing the test, a final interview was conducted with 4 people from upper management and directly heading the projects we would be working with. I was tested on my language abilities, and just about anything. About 5 students were picked for my batch. There are about 100,000 students who took the Samsung SAT along with me. I'm guessing it's about 5 internationals/5 koreans for each Samsung subsidiary, which works up to 100-200 students selected per recruitment round.
