Took me a month and a half to complete an interview process for a new and largely ambiguous senior analyst role.
1. Recruiter call
2. Hiring manager interview
3 Take home HW assignment
4. Presentation going over assignment with hiring manager and another manager
5. Panel interview with 3 people not including hiring manager or direct peer in role.
Samsara rescheduled 2 times throughout the process. It felt as though the process was too long and involved too many steps for the role/compensation. The hiring process was largely unclear from the beginning, the role itself was ambiguous. When I was notified that I did not get the position, I got no real feedback. They told me they would keep me in mind for future roles, but the interview process has turned me off from to wanting to explore any future opportunities if they come my way.
I had a positive overall experience until the very end. The recruiting team was accommodating throughout the process. However, I went through the entire interview process and did not get the offer because I did not have the specific experiences they were looking for. I wished they had realized that earlier so I did not have to go through the entire process.

Talked to the recruiter then a manager who is not the hiring manager. They are both very friendly, however the manager mentioned that their budget range is way below the market rate for a senior analyst position. I think this was false advertising with a senior title.
