It was a positive HR interview and I felt comfortable throughout. The interviewer was friendly and expressed strong interest in my resume. They listened well and asked relevant questions about the role. However, after the interview, I never heard back no phone call or email.

I recently applied for a Senior Software Engineer position at SafetyCulture (Sydney), and my experience with the interview process was extremely disappointing. After scheduling my first interview, I joined the Zoom meeting on time, but the HR representative did not show up. When I reached out via email, I was informed that there were "issues with Zoom," which felt like an excuse rather than a genuine reason. Despite this, I remained professional and agreed to reschedule for the following day. However, after asking for a confirmed time slot, I received no response. I followed up again the next day but was met with complete silence. The lack of communication and professionalism from the hiring team was frustrating and disrespectful of my time and effort. This experience raised concerns about the company's internal processes and culture. A well-structured and respectful recruitment process reflects the values of an organization, and unfortunately, SafetyCulture fell short in this regard.
