Select Service Partner Hong Kong limited - Financial Analyst
The company has been hiring this position since early Jan or Feb. (I've just learnt that the position remains open for more than 4 months).
I applied online and got an interview opportunity.
There were two interviewers: Finance Manager (FP&A) and Senior Financial Analyst.
It took around 1.5 hours for the interview session. No written test, the interview was conducted in Cantonese.
The reporting line : FP&A manager > Senior Financial Analyst > Financial Analyst (the hiring role)
They asked a lot of questions about your current job with your current employer and got some scenario questions for you.
What I learnt from interviewers is that the company has a lot of internal systems which are not integrated well so they have to spend a lot of time on finding the error in order to come up with finalized, correct data for month-end closing. The whole process could be clumsy and time-consuming.
A lot of manual work has to be done on verifying the (massive) data correctness and overtime work is expected. They want someone who's excel-savvy to get the data messy work trouble shot.
It seems hard to off work on time if you want to further study while at work.
You could ask the HR whether the interview could be conducted after office hours.
Month of Year-end closing: Sep
Select Service Partner Hong Kong Limited is not the same as Select Service Partner Asia Pacific Limited. The business scope is just different. The former focuses on Hong Kong business. SSPHK is F&B retailer/ operator which runs F&B franchises business in food court, airport, etc.
