You must know someone if you are an external applicant. So after your friend or family member gets the hiring manager to pull your file. They will contact HR and a talent rep will call you and do a phone screen interview. If you aren't a complete idiot you will get an interview with the department manager and lead. If you make it through this round the next week or so you will be brought in for peer interviews. If you do not fit the culture of the group you will not be offered. If you do the manger tells HR to call you with an offer don't bother to negotiate they will not budge. After you accept the offer they will email you orientation information.
