Got an email from the lab manager for an interview. Was interviewed by the lab manager and lab supervisor. Questions were based on things i wrote on my CV, my GPA, and other technical questions.

First-round is the general interview, the second round is the technical interview. The second one is focused on your technical background and previous working experiences. They would check for further details for the technical question answers.
