The WORST recruiting process I've experienced in my whole life. I had 6 interviews (with 8 people in total) within 2 weeks. Somehow, I felt that every interview went well and even received positive feedback during some of the interviews. Then, I was asked to fill in an "application form" and was asked to provide the information of my 3 last supervisors AND 3 references from my last 3 jobs (I had to contact people I hadn't spoken with for years!). Then, the HR recruiter told me on a Monday that she expected I would receive the offer the next couple of days, Tuesday evening she sent me an email letting me know she was just waiting to receive details on my start date. Next morning (Wednesday), she called me to say that 2 out of the 6 interviews were "negative feedback" and they decided not to extend the job offer to me anymore. Of course, I was confused (and then very mad) about it for the way the process had been going and everything I had been told. Supposedly they noticed that I "lack experience in Excel" (I've used Excel for years, formulas, pivot tables, have programmed macros - also keep in mind this was a Sales Comp Analyst role) and when I asked her if they could send me an Excel file to prove my knowledge in Excel she said no, a decision had been made.
Literally, the WORST process and I truly hope that no one has to go through this. I gave this HR recruiter my feedback during that last call but wanted to share it here as well.
