      Candidature

J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Roycon en mai 2024

      Entretien

Round 1 - Recruiter, 30 mins on Google Meet: shared experience, assessed culture fit. Round 2 - PM Lead, 30 mins on Google Meet: shared experience, assessed culture fit, discussed devops practices/procedures. This was originally supposed to be with the COO, but they had left the company shortly after this round was scheduled. Round 3 - CEO, 60 mins on Google Meet: shared experience, technical scoping scenario. Round 4 - Solution Architect, 30 mins on Google Meet: assessed knowledge/approach of engagement lifecycle followed by another technical scoping scenario. The process was pretty typical for a Salesforce consulting partner and everyone I spoke with was very friendly and passionate about their work. I had great impressions of everyone I had met with and had gotten to the point of negotiating salary with the recruiter over the course of a few emails (I had expressed that I wanted to move forward despite the number being a bit lower that what I had initially requested). I was excited when we finally settled on an appropriate number, but it was at this point I felt things were getting a little strange as the recruiter was not forthcoming about extending an offer. I had to request benefit information and implied that I'd be ready to sign an offer as soon as one was sent over. It was at this point that I was met with a surprise 4th round interview. It ended up being fine, but when you think you've completed the interview process and you're on the edge of your seat waiting for an offer to be sent, only to be met with another round, you get a sinking feeling in your stomach along with a bit of self-doubt and then suspicion. After the final round, I emailed the recruiter reflecting on my experience and asking to pass along my thanks to the team, as well as thanking them for guiding me through the interview process. And I never heard from them again.
