It was very basic. They asked about my background, why I am interested in this job. Then they asked me to ask some questions. I wasn't very into this position, so I didn't prepare for this interview. After talking to them, I found that this job needs you to spend lots of time compile files and file reports.

First round was on-campus. Quick 30 minute interview with an associate from the firm.
Second round was at their office, met with 1 partner and 3 associates, one of which was a former technical advisor, over a 2.5 hour period.
Every attorney I spoke with was very friendly, but the HR folks were unpleasant during the process of setting up the second interview.
Received a rejection email a month later.

I applied through handshake and received an on-campus interview within 1 week. I was interviewed by a patent lawyer. The interview was short, 30 min. 10 mins asking about my resume and why I want to work as a technical advisor. 20 mins for me to ask questions about the job/company etc. I was not asked to analyze a patent claim. It took about 2 weeks to hear back, but I did not get the second round on-site interview.
