Was contacted by HR and asked to answer a few questions listed in the email to send back. I assume that this was the HR screening part instead of a usual phone call. I was then set up with a Zoom call with the hiring manager in which basic questions were asked to start, but no interest was shown in anything that was being said which made it hard to want to continue. Things that were done included looking over the shoulder, but in general, off-screen and talking to others who kept coming into the room. On top of that, hypothetical job-related questions were clearly thought of right as they spoke and each question took about 1 to 2 minutes to set the scene when they could've easily been condensed and asked in less than 15 seconds. It made it difficult to understand what was going on and what the question was exactly. Overall, pretty bad experience as I have no idea why the hiring manager even wanted to talk for 29/30 minutes of it was going to seem like an inconvenience to their day.
