      Entretien

This is a bit of a rant, so I'll start with the overall process. Start to finish, took about 2 months. - Applied online, heard back after ~1 week - Phone interview with recruiter, typical vetting - Screening round -- 1 Favorite product -- 1 Behavioral - On-Site: -- 1 Product Sense interview -- 1 Case Study interview (given the case beforehand) *Note that there may be 2 additional interviews as part of the on-site. Some friends had 2 behavioral interviews within this round, others did not. My issue with the interview process was more-so with the recruitment process than with the interviews themselves. The interviewers were friendly, knowledgeable and easy to interact with. Everything went well until I was handed off to an internal recruiter after the Screening phase. We had a call, went over the breakdown for the on-site, and I then waited for a link to schedule. After ~10 days and 2 follow-ups, I received a response from the first recruiter (who wasn't supposed to be involved anymore), and received a link to schedule. For the Case Study interview, the interviewer and I realized we were given different cases. We decided to reschedule. I reached out to the internal recruiter, received no response. Then, after getting a link to reschedule, the internal recruiter emails me in a generic fashion about the case study, as if we never spoke before. Another ~10 days go by after completing the on-site and I follow up since I had another pending offer. Received a rejection within 5 minute of sending, saying that they were planning to give me a call, but figured they'd just respond to my email. If you were planning to call, why were you sitting on a known rejection with no follow-up? TL/DR: Don't hesitate to follow-up if your recruiter is not being communicative. TL/DR.2: Incredibly poor recruitment process, especially when considering candidates dedicate hours and hours only to receive no feedback on which interviews led to the rejection.

1st call: screening call from recruiter; 2st call: behavioural and product sense; 3rd call: virtual on-site interview, 4-5 interviewers over 2 days. Their interview portal is pretty easy to use.
