3+ month long process with focus on personality traits rather than experience needed to be proficient at position. Multiple rounds of phone interviews, virtual interviews via web meetings. Team members expressed great interest in having me join the team. Was one of 2 final candidates. Rivian selected the younger, less qualified individual for this role.

They asked me questions about my career and skills and i answered them and then they asked more questions and then i answered those too. yes i did mhmm for sure i did
Started with a call from a recruiter asking me about my resume. 2 weeks later got invited to a panel with multiple interviews with different engineering leads. Mostly behavioral questions with some technical questions.
3 rounds, fairly quick process. Recruiting was very helpful and polite. Mix of technical and behavioral questions. Left feeling like I had a good idea of what the job would be like (rotational program for new grads.)
