I applied on the website and I got a text for an interview a week later. It was a group interview with an individual interview aswell. During the group interview, you are asked about yourself (which is expected), then you are asked to do groupwork which consists of different things. You could be asked to talk about an outfit that you would choose for a certain age group e.g a 20 year old on a night out or a certain celebrity like Rihanna. Make sure you emphasise about your love for fashion and try to stand out in the group like being the one to write the groups suggestions, kinda shows that you are willing to help out (as in my interview no one else wanted to write). You are also asked to go around the shop and pick an outfit for a certain person like the above, go for top/ dress, shoes, purses and even jewlerry. Then you brought aside from the group with a 1 on 1 interview like about you, how much you love fashion, a time where you worked with a group to solve a problem, a time when you were helpful, what you think about River Island and why you want to work for them. After the interview, you should get a call within a week, if you didn't get a job they send you an email within a few days.

Pretty simple, wanted to know about availability, any previous experience within the retail industry and what about the company I knew about. Had some basic experience questions that the star technique comes in handy for!
