It’s a partial scam to get their Glip numbers up and a waste of time. Here’s their current “hiring” process: 1. Apply and submit application 2. You’ll receive an automated email asking you to download their Glip app 3. The next day, you’ll receive what appears to be a recruiter email (it’s not) instructing you to download their Glip app and message the recruiter directly for interview purposes 4. After downloading and messaging the recruiter, they request that you to schedule a 15 min call with the recruiter to ensure “you’re comfortable with their system”. 5. On the call, the recruiter is scripted. They basically want to ensure you downloaded their app and advise that if you fit the role, they will reach out via the Glip app. What? Please be mindful of people’s time that could’ve been expressed in an email.
