After providing my resume and other requirements I was contacted for a phone screen by a product manager within a week. Then I was required to conduct a case study. Which was reviewed and then I was required to discuss my findings. Then I had a panel interview with a variety of functional heads.

5 step interview process. The first three steps were with different people asking the exact same questions. The last two steps were case study related. It looked like they were trying to crowdsource solutions.

Contacted the recruiter after checking a position online. The recruiter sent my resume to the product head and scheduled an interview. The interview went well with the manager saying he'll tell the recruiter to have me talk with a PM on his team. The manager specifically told me that they are looking for a senior PM and that I fit the requirements. A few days later I get a call from the recruiter saying - "I had too much work-load and so passed your resume directly to the hiring manager. However I need to screen you before going forward". This seemed weird to me - Firstly, the recruiter admitted he didn't screen me, and secondly, he wanted to screen me 'after' the hiring manager gave him the signal to proceed?
Anyways I got 'screened' by the recruiter and he scheduled another phone interview with a product manager. The interview went great and I was told to wait for the next steps. After 4 weeks of me emailing the recruiter and the hiring manager I get a terse reply from the recruiter - "We are currently looking for more senior positions and wouldn't be hiring at your level for a few months."
This conversation took over 2 months. Besides being super frustrating due to a non-responsive recruiter, this seems to be a place where there are huge communication issues. Any place that hires untrained recruiters risks their interview pipeline either going dry or leak away. I won't recommend interviewing here.
