I received an email from the hiring manager. My appointment was not confirmed by the hiring manager. I showed up to the interview as indicated in the email and was told I did not have an appointment. The hiring manager found a visiting manager to talk to me about the position. He was not prepared and had not reviewed my resume, so I led the discussion and verbally reviewed my resume and qualifications.
