I filled out an application for the HR Manager role and was offered a face to face interview within 2 weeks of sending my application in. I met with the HR Director and two other department managers. The interview was close to 40 minutes late due to HR manager in another meeting and was not offered an apology . Additionally the interview was uncomfortable as the room was small and was cramped with 4 people sitting at a round table. They used a standard interview process for asking questions which they all took notes but looked down more at the table than at me. I was honest with them that I was interviewing with several companies and had one offer on the table but I was very interested in work for a nonprofit. I was told that I would hear back from them either way after 1-2 weeks. I stayed in contact with them and even sent a thank you email but no response from them. After 4 weeks passed I reached out again with no responce. I felt that they should have gotten back in touch either way to let me know the status. I reached out again once more before I took another offer and still no responce. I found this very off putting that there was a lack of communication for a high level position. There should have been follow up on their part.
