      I am located outside of Dayton and all other major offices of Reynolds, so all interviews were done on the phone or over skype. I applied online and was sent an email four days later with instructions to complete an online personality and aptitude assessment. The aptitude assessment consists of 3 sections: sequential patterns, spatial relationships, and math word problems. It takes about 1hr45min to complete both assessments and is fairly mentally taxing towards the end. The aptitude test is long and not meant to be finished in the allotted time. Six days after completing the assessments, I received a phone call from a recruiter to get further basic information (salary expectations, location preferences, why you applied for the position, etc) and to set up a skype interview with him. The skype interview went well with the typical questions asked (strengths, weaknesses, where you see yourself in 5 years, etc). The interview lasted approximately 45 minutes. The recruiter sent me several items to complete after our interview: an applicant information form, a motor vehicle record and credit check, and an ethics assessment. The ethics assessment measures your thoughts towards drugs, theft, and alcohol use in the workplace. Ten days after submitting these items, I had a skype interview with a manager. Again, this interview went well and the questions were pretty basic. This interview was about 45 minutes as well. Four days later, I receive an email from the recruiter to schedule a proctored assessment. This assessment was the same as the aptitude assessment from the beginning of the application process, just not quite as long. The test took about an hour to complete. A week after completing the proctored assessment, I was granted a skype interview with one of the directors of the department. This was definitely the most challenging one yet as the questions were more open-ended and required me to think on my feet. For example, one of the questions was to teach him something I know about. Another was to tell him what my dream job is and why. Despite the tougher questions, I still felt I did a good job answering them and tying them back to why I was a good fit for the job. He informed me that this would be the last interview I would have to do. The interview lasted 50 minutes and I felt confident about a positive outcome. Two days after this final interview, I received a generic email from the recruiting department that I was not selected to move forward in the process. I immediately emailed the recruiter I had been working with throughout the entire process and thanked him for his time and efforts. I also respectfully asked if he had any notes on why I wasn't selected to move forward. No response. I was fine with going through the many different steps because I was really interested in the position. I enjoyed the individuals I got to interview with as we had good conversations and was asked some thought-provoking questions along the way. But it's disappointing to complete the entire interviewing process, just to be dropped with no explanation. I met the qualifications, prepared well for each interview, and demonstrated my applicable skills and desire for the position. After dedicating so much time to the process, I felt it was reasonable to ask how I could improve for future interviews. Ah well.

      Highly convoluted, the personality test is obnoxious and felt like a massive waste of time. The personality test also made the whole thing feel impersonal. There is also a section about AI and how much you approve or disapprove of it.

      Pre-interview phone conference was conducted with a human resources representative. She asked 5 questions and advised she would send the notes to the hiring managers. I received an email the next day stating I was not going to be considered for the role. I responded asking what was the reason and have not received a response.

      Entretien

      3 interviews, all 3 I didn’t do a ton of talking. Slowly revealed worse and worse aspects of the position as the interviews went on. When I was able to ask specific questions, most of the answers were not straight forward.
