J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Reynolds and Reynolds (Dayton, OH)

      Entretien

I applied online and was contacted within 48 hours to take an aptitude test online and was informed that I may be subjected to a proctored test later if I scored well the first time. I then did a brief phone interview with a recruiter, who then referred me to a different recruiter for a higher level position, as the first one was more entry level than what I really wanted. I did a Skype interview with the second recruiter who asked me some fairly basic questions, none of which were specifically job related. Next, they sent me a questionnaire with some pretty invasive questions that were completely irrelevant to my potential job performance, qualifications, or competencies. I also had to do an ethics/drugs in the workplace survey. Finally, they had me do a proctored version of the first examination. About four days after I took the examination, they sent me an email telling me I was no longer being considered as a candidate. I live out of state currently, so I had to do the proctored exam by doing a video conference with a proctor via Skype in a public place. I'm also currently employed, so I had to do it over my lunch break. I explained my situation after the initial rejection email, hoping for a little bit of understanding, but I was ghosted. Advice for the company going forward: Have your candidates do the proctored assessment BEFORE wasting their time. I understand that you have strict procedures for weeding out candidates and I respect that, but dragging someone along for weeks and then ghosting them at the end of a weeks-long process is insulting and unprofessional. Also, you may want to consider ensuring that all employees are taking the proctored exam in a standardized conditions because environment can play a large role in test performance. If you're going to drag candidates through such an arduous process, you should consider flying them out or reimbursing them for travel to come and take the proctored exam.
