J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Revolut en sept. 2021
Entretien
Intense but worth it. There were 5 stages to the interview process which could be off-putting, when comparing to other businesses, but by the second stage I realised the process was beyond your academics and experience and it became about are you the right fit for the company and do you have the right attitude. Revolut really lives the values and that shines through in the interview process.
The 5 stages were:
1. Screening with recruiter - checking your CV/experiences are in-line with job description.
2. Hackerrank test - Test was in 2 parts, first half was risk questions used to filter out candidates who don't have the knowledge for role, second half was maths based but not as difficult as some other firms.
3. Technical interview - this was with the hiring manager and was in-depth regarding my Operational Risk experience and knowledge of methodology. Fairly comfortable interview as this is bread and butter for the role.
4. Problem solver - This is designed to put the candidate on the spot with a scenario presented in the interview without any prior study. However the interviewer was very friendly and helped to steer your pitch at the right level but the crux of this is to understand how you think and get to solutions with the key being to offer multiple solutions.
5. Bar raiser - This stage is more of an in-depth character and experience based interview. Mine wasn't from someone within the function but instead trying to understand my experiences and decide if I was a right company fit.

What is the difference between inherent risk and residual risk?

Highly organised multi stage interview with progressive feedback after every interview. Interviewers were well prepared and professional other than one founders associate (a body of highly qualified MBA types working directly for the founders)

Question 1
Rather strange process where you were pre warned about the questions and what would be considered the acceptable and unacceptable sorts of answers. Therefore negating the point of an open and honest interview. Started ringing alarm bells about group think and an overly controlling company.
