J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Republic Airways (Kansas City, MO)
Entretien
I attended a Republic Airways open house/interview event a couple of weeks ago at MCI (Kansas City) We started off by checking in, the representatives took our resumes and asked how far we traveled to get to the interview. The interviews are done in order of who traveled the furthest. Further you travel the sooner you are called for your 1 on 1 interview. We then enter the room. There was a smaller # of candidates. Maybe 20 or so. They go through a presentation and fill you in on how it all works basically. The hiring process, training, scheduling, time off, benefits, pay... basically every thing you need to know to really determine if this would be a good fit for you. They then ask if anyone has any questions before handing you a packet to fill out. After about 45 minutes or so they begin calling you back for your interview. It was a real relaxed atmosphere which helps make you feel more comfortable and at ease. They go through basic customer service interview questions and have you read part of a script of an in-flight announcement. They don't sugar coat anything, they are upfront and really let you know how life will be like if you choose to pursue this career path. Some people will love it and some people will hate it. They advise you after the interview it could be up to 2 weeks before you hear if you passed the interview portion. If so you will receive an email asking you to click a link to take a "personality assessment" then they tell you it will be up to another 2 weeks before you hear if you passed that, all in all they prepare you to wait.... however, i got my email advising me i passed the interview portion the 2nd day after the event. I logged on and took the assessment that day and less than a week later I received my pool letter congratulating me and advising me that i would be called 3-5 weeks prior to my starting date for training.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
writing an essay explaining the steps I would take to relocate...
Watched a video explaining the role and company values. Then, there was an opportunity to practice recording. Make sure you look into the camera, and not at yourself! Most of the questions you are only allowed to record once. The question is presented, and you are giving 1-2 minutes to prepare your response.

One-way video interview—2 minutes prep time for each question, 2 minutes allowed for each response, no retakes. There was an 11-minute intro video that discussed the company's background, mission, culture statement, scheduling, and pay expectations. This was followed by a 2.5-minute tutorial on how to record and submit responses. There was also an opportunity to do a practice recording before beginning, so that was helpful. It was very awkward to talk directly to the camera without a person there, so be prepared for that, but it was good practice and a learning experience if nothing else. I recommend recording yourself responding to interview questions before sitting down to do the interview.

Virtual recorded responses. About six questions, the question appeared on the screen, there's a countdown, then you must record your response. Some questions we're a timed for one minute with one minute to respond. Some allowed more time to respond.
