I had one initial screening/phone interview with the HR recruiter. I was told that the next step would be to interview with the manager. I only had the one interview and opted to withdraw my application. The recruiter described that there were only 2 people on staff (Laser Tech and the Sales Consultant). There are 4 different KPI's to meet, and only then if you meet all 4, you get 2.5% of the commission, which you split with the laser technician, each month. That means if you sell $10,000 in a month, you split $250 with the laser technician. The commission model did not make any sense to me and I decided to withdraw then.

I was contacted by a recruiter and had the first interview with her via telephone. She asked about my background, experience with sales and meeting kpis. She passed along my info and I set up the next interview.
The second was with a regional manager via zoom. They asked similar questions about sales and meeting metrics in previous roles. I was the only one with my camera on which threw me off a bit.
The other portion was mainly about working with medical professionals and how I think I’d do with that as someone with no medical background.

Interview seemed easy did a phone interview first then a zoom call in the same week. The zoom interview went well but the lady doing the interview seemed very negative and told me there was a high turnover rate and the sales goals were ridiculous numbers. I appreciate her telling me these things because I don’t want to work for a company with a bad reputation.
