Ugh. This is one of those companies. Brought me in just to check a box. Much time has passed and I’ve seen offers already go out, but no news from them, no follow up. Panel based interview - thanks for sitting all on one side Regeneron team
- started late finished early. Team was struggling to ask basic questions and engage in a dialogue. Definitely felt like they had to see me.
Transparency and directness was not the hallmark of this group. Lots of beating around the bush as if trying to catch a mistake instead of engaging with positive intent. Again, definitely felt like they had to see me.
I won’t assume that they are JV as many of my colleagues have had direct interactions with the individuals on the panel. So it just looks like they wasted my time because they had to consider me as a candidate while having an internal candidate already slotted.
I asked one question about their culture. All but one person on the panel made an attempt at answering it.

Perhaps I did not make the cut as they did not like my shoes - rather - they have an internal candidate. Not an issue. Just tell me.
Ask your recruiter;
Are they really serious?
Do they already have an internal candidate?
What is the format for the interview?
When will a decision be made?
If any of these sound off - don’t bother.
