I was excited to apply for this role and be a part of this process, but the way I was rejected left a sour taste in my mouth to say the least. I had a great screening with the recruiter and did a content design one day on a weekend, and it got great feedback from the team who then said I'm better for a non-senior role. I said I was still interested and went on to speak to a content lead. Then, I got a generic rejection letter as if they hadn't spoken to me over the phone on multiple occasions.
